Edward Annan was born in Kumasi on the 22nd February 1945 to Mr. William Edward Annan and Madam Beatrice Patricia Davis both deceased.

He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bremen/Germany. He is a product of Mfantsipim Secondary School. He established Masai Developers Limited in 1977. Added to Masai Development Limited were several other companies such as Masai Computers Limited which operated on IBM Dealership and Masai motors Limited, SEAT Car Dealership.

In his old age of 73 years, Edward Annan took on a new challenge to enter into the Aviation Industry. His aim is to create an Aviation Hub in Ghana. Edward Annan is an Entrepreneur and a philanthropist.

As an entrepreneur for the last 35 plus years, he uses his innate ability for leadership to creatively capitalize on filling the technological vacuum in Ghana and other parts of Africa with innovative business and development initiatives that have helped people and businesses realized their full potential.

Through decisive leadership, teamwork as well as his vision to help with Ghana’s economic growth, he created jobs and an income for many families. At the height of its operations, in 2000 the EA group ltd employed over 380 people in Ghana.

Though he contemplated retirement when he turned 60, he has been unable to even slow down. With his desire to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with as many youth as possible, he has dedicated much of his time in recent times to the youth, sharing practical lessons of his life as an entrepreneur and providing tips and practical examples of his wealth creation formula.

Mr. Annan spoke at the 16th Edition of Step Up Business Forum at the British Council, Accra.
